e studio 4540 frequent wait

I have two of these that will make about 10 copies then stop and say "wait" for several minutes before resuming and repeats this throughout the run. If I cancel the job, it immediately goes back to ready. They have current firmware. Need help.

the thermopiles need to be cleaned, remove the fuser and there is a metal plate thats on the machine held in with 2 small screws it also has black plastic, remove it and the thermopiles are located behind the plate, clean them with a clean cloth and you should be good to go
