DP5570 is analog while e-55 is digital..

bro does machine are both digital.im wondring why toshiba made does machine so similar and all its parts but thy had diferent names.

Here is an excerpt from an old TechNet article describing how to convert a DP to an eStudio.

Through testing we have confirmed that you can update a DP5570, DP6570 or a DP8070 with e-STUDIO firmware. You must update the FROMs and the Main ROM. You might need to update the other ROMs depending on the firmware level of the DP copier. Once performed, the copier uses e-STUDIO copier options: The finisher options are the MJ1015/16 with optional MJ6002 Punch and the controller options must be at the firmware levels required for the e-STUDIO copier.
How to Perform the Update

2. Flash the FROMs with e-STUDIO55/65/80 FROM version T330SU033 (available from Tech-To-Go)
3. Update the Main ROM to e-STUDIO Main ROM
   • 5570/6570: update to e-STUDIO55/65 version PMA-331-M02 8070: update to e-STUDIO80 version PMA-330-M02
   
   
4. Update Laser ROM to PRA-300L-11 and Scan ROM to PRA-300S-08 if the machine is not already at this version.

Warnings

• If you update the Main ROM and do not update the FROM, you will get a blank screen if you try to power up normally. The FROM update mode will still work.
• If you update to the e-STUDIO firmware and install an MJ1006/7, you will get a blank screen.
• This update does not apply to a DP4580. The DP4580 cannot have e-STUDIO firmware installed.
