If it was working before, did you plug the Print/Scan dongle back in.

yes it is working before, but there is no dongle required in estudio 305 not like the series of 230,282 352 series

Well, you're not going to get to far without one.

print and scan was standard on the 305 in north america but not other parts of the world, it came with a 60 day trial period after which you had to purchase a licensing key to enable print , depending on what country your in it may not be standard

For what it is worth, the "Site Feedback and Questions" forum is primarily for issues or suggestions specifically regarding the CTN website.
If you take this discussion to this forum:
                http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/toshiba/
you will have access to far more people with Toshiba equipment experience.
I worked on analog Toshiba equipment for quite a while, but as this appears to be a digital problem I don't think I can help further. Sorry about that.
                Still, good luck!

blackdevil, It seems you installed a Firmware that is not for North America units.

We had units from Europe that prints without an enabler and units from Asia that needs an enabler. We made mistake in updating the Europe machine using an Asian FW and the printing was disabled. Luckily i was able to secure a Europe firmware and got it printing again.

                    Hi.
I upgraded Toshiba e-Studio 305cp (color printer, no scanner) from firmware FW60 to FW90.P212. I found firmware on NL site https://www.toshibatec.nl/producten/.../e-studio305cp.
Printer was bought in Slovenia, Europe.

After update and printer reboot the printer boots always with error shown on the display "Invalid Engine Code".
                    IMG_1135.jpg
Upgrade process went without issues. But instead of Ready signal i get Invalid Engine Code error on the display. And printing is not possible.
Printer web site access works as it worked before upgrade.

I tried to load slightly lower FW version FW90.P210 , but printer displays "Invalid version" message. Is this due to downgrade restrictions?
Does somebody know what the error means and what is an issue?
How to remedy this? Is there a way to do a "force downgrade"?

                    Thanks.
                    Regards, Mitja

                      Update:
According to issues described on Lexmark forums (this Toshiba printer is base on Lexmark - "identical") it could be the issue that new firmware does not recognize imaging kit and cartridges any more!? All components are original and first built!

Probably the only solution would be downgrading firmware to older / previous FW version (eg. LW71, LW63 ...).
The question is, where to get an older firmware and how to downgrade? Currently printer dows not allow me to downgrade to anything lower than current version. And according to assumption future newer FW version will be no better than this!
