toshiba estudio 2820 damp heater

am using this copier and hope anyone can help to point me how to disable the damp heater either disconnecting it or using service code. had search the web but unable to find the answer and i do not need the damp heater to be on. had tried disconnect the cable on the themistor but error c260 appears.

If not mistaken damp heater is located on the back of machine, after take out the back cover, there is a black color switch for damp heater...

thanks for the reply, but estudio 2820 the damp heater unit is on the scanner unit below the glass on the left side
