    Service in progress

I have a Toshiba es4540c. When we turn the machine on it displays an hourglass and has the message Service in Progress. Please do not turn off.04 After some time it will restart and the number at the end of the line changes. I have flashed it with the latest firmware 4132 and looked in the service manuals with no luck. Has anyone seen this?

Thank you in advance for any help.

The copier has been configured to use e-bridge cloud connect (ECC) a service to collect meter readings/toner notifications and provide remote service i.e. clone files 08 codes etc.

You can turn it off with 08-3820 0.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the restraints

I have come across a similar issue with the Toshiba ES4540c, but it seems like a specific technical glitch. However, you might seek professional technical assistance if troubleshooting doesn't yield results. Meanwhile, consider delegating other tasks if you need to focus on resolving this. You could buy an essay UK students rely on for academic support, allowing you to allocate more time to resolving this Toshiba matter.

... Toshiba Tec Japan no longer techncially supports this very old, overly complicated model to repair.

I doubt if eCloud Connect supports this model.

Check for dust on the thermistors in the fuser unit preventing the copier from warming up.

I would decline any further service calls and tell the customer it is time to upgrade to a newer copier.

The 4540 does still work in ECC - I have one on my demo room.
Never had any issues with this model either, seems to run forever.
