    Does this model come with a security function like on ricoh's that will erase all user data and leave the machine operable?

      Yes it does. Under admin settings there is "Restore to Factory Default" option. That will wipe all settings and data but not the OS.
      Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?
