    estudio 280 firmware

    Hello everybody,
    I have one estudio 280 that hangs at the copier picture display when booting. I have been trying to do firmware update and the screen just come up with empty list in download mode. The firmware I have is e280L. Is it different from that of e280? If it is can someone pls help with the correct one. The Toshiba portal for our region only have e230L and e280L firmwares listed. Thanks

      Have you tried going into 08 mode and formating the HDD. 08 690 enter 2. That might bring it back. Also the EB3 models were picky about the size of the usb sticks. I always use a 2gb stick and make sure its formatted to fat not fat 32. If you are updating from a version earlier than SYS232, the mentusb.o file MUST be inthe root of the USB key. If it is not, you will get a file inflation error.With the mentusb.o file in the root of the key, you should put the rest of the firmware inthe model specific folder. Do not put the machine firmware in the USB root. You still might just have to replace the HDD and reload the last firmware available for that model.

          @gliderider, thanks for your response. The stick is 2gb and fat. The copier is not entering 08 modes. Can you confirm if the firmware is the same for estudio 280 and estudio 280L?

              I send you firmware for e-studio 230_280 in PM. its in version 4006.

                          You need 1gb USB drive or less. or you have corrupted firmware
