Can anyone help me with some advice please! I have a Toshiba 1350 photocopier which is great, but a symbol lit up today - toner seemed to be piled up from the bottom, which in the book seems to indicate I need a new toner cartridge. I opened the cover and saw the plastic overflow bottle was nearly overflowing, so I got one of the guys at work to tip the overflow toner into the 'toner cartridge' and then seal up the white hole with tape. Put back together again, and photocopier now allows me to copy, but the pages come out blank, or actually just a thin film of toner all over them so light greyish, but won't actually produce an image. Is there a re-set button somewhere, or do these things work from microchips/weight of toner in the cartridges, or have I done the wrong thing refilling the existing toner cartridge? Any advice much appreciated. Thank you, GAIL

so far as I can gather you try to refill toner cartridge with ? bulk toner ? toner for 1350 ? or any toner
if you pour the first met toner it's not a surprised as a result -
That bottle is not an overflow. It is a waste toner bottle, meaning it is unsuitable for use. By feeding it back into the copier you have contaminated the developer. Now you will need to dump the old developer material in the developer unit and don't do that again.Comment
