    Your opinion generally is right.

    BUT

Did you ever experienced F14 in this model? If you did you know what is happened. And if you have cpc contract I am sure your costumer is not happy if counter shifts xxxx copies away from the real one. What you do in this case. Apologize to costumer but anyway invoicing that extra terrestrial copies? Come on. I am sure most of us are coming here not for searching how to f**k up Mrs or Mr CUSTOMER. But a solution to make Mrs or Mr CUSTOMER happiest one. Am I right?

ivovb, you are totally right, and I know you personally so I'm pretty sure what you mean. Also I'm almost sure that this works cuz I had to recover one machine once from TC like xxxxxxxxxx to real one. Just my bad memory , but PM me and we can discuss that.

What about 08-388/389 Or replacing the SRAM/MAIN boards. The Service Handbook doesn't mention anything about resetting the total counter to fix F14.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Code F14 in service handbook say replace main pwb, but code F14 show up in almost every machine. Because of that toshiba give this solution.
Problem is counter in SRAM, he doesn't mach to Main board.
I have problem in e166 this code had showed up 4 times on the same machine.

Sorry to say but Toshiba's SH and SM are the best. I have had several cases that I could not solve the problem because of a bad described procedures or even mistakes. I know that no body is perfect but trusting to service documentation 100 % is not a totally good idea. There are some manuals that have 20 versions!
