[Misc] Toshiba e-studio 16 email setup / scan setup

Hi, I would like to send scan to email with this machine, but I think that it is not properly configured, and i do not even know if it is possible.

I have been following this thread: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/to...-how-scan.html

and there, it is mention the "Internet fax kit" and a battery pack installed on network card, I think that I have that, I leave some pictures:

on the default setup the option "email setup" and "scan setup" appeas not available

it is possible to make it work?

    Regards.

This copier is an old pig from more than 10 years ago.

Give it up, no one remembers how to fix it or if it is even compatible with today's email technology.

Certainly, there is no support coming from Toshiba.

yes I know, but It's my backup printer in any case that the other get broke

I have an Toshiba 2050c just fix it, and we had to use an inkjek printer when it brokes.

Also it is for fun, I'm not an expert so if I'm using this to practice.

I only want to know if I had the Internet Fax Kit (GD-1070) installed or not, and if It is possible to use scan to email function.

      Regards.

You have fax, pcl and network card. To see if You have internet fax You have to remove metal plate covering network card (first photo right-bottom position) - 1 or 2 screws. After that remove network card - 1 screw and 1 connector. There must be a card with batteries attached - better make new photos... Anyway I can't remember if this machine can use SSL/TLS etc.

BTW this machine has been delivering since 18-19 years at least here in Europe.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.
