    Toshiba e-281 with CE40

Hi, I have a problem with new copeir (30-50 copies) with CE40. I do everithing what is written in service handbook(without changing parts) . Copier builds up count errors in 08/576 "Abnormality detection count (K)". Problem pereats 2-3 way a day. When copier did;t have error everithing is good(copier works well).

    IS anybody have any idea?

    Great thanks!

    I have the same problem.
Toshiba sugested to change black developer and do the ATR (05-204).
It is still an issue on my machine.
If I turn on the machine in the morning I get CE40. The next try is OK.
The next morning - the same story.

That's right. This problem CE40 repeats EVERY morning when the customer switches on the copier. We didn't still ask Toshiba official service what to do, but (like I see) we have to do this.

Sounds like you just need to blow off the IQ sensor's reference plate with air ... but just air. If you wipe it you will ruin it.
