      I believe that is a USB hub, it mounts under the front cover located at the left of the Control Panel, there is a radio wireless logo on that cover for identification. After that you can use it to fit other optionals like Wireless usb stick, a card reader device designed to fit under that cover etc
      Defects are simple, our mind is complicated
