Has anyone found a Toshiba print driver yet that works well with Dept Codes on a Mac OSX 10.14?

Re: OSX 10.14 Mojave Dept Codes
For OSX 10.14 built in apps, the text box to enter dept code is missing, u can create a preset that store the dept code using other app such as chrome. Make sure the dept code is enabled under printer features. -
Re: OSX 10.14 Mojave Dept Codes
I generally use CUPS to enter the department information on our mac clients. Two reasons we do this is due to a few 'discussions' with people in regards to colour printing "Even though the page is black and white" scenario. So we go in and make sure its set to mono by system default.
The second is the department code reason. Some people get confused over the presets and how they work ... so again while in CUPS, we go to the department code section and enter the numbers so it doesn't matter what preset or print job they use, it will have that department information stored at a system level.
To enable CUPS, open the Terminal and type (exactly)
cupsctl WebInterface=yes
Then open Safari (or other browser) and navigate to
localhost:631
This will present you with the CUPS home page where you can manage the printers at the system level.
Hope this helps!Comment
