Under the admin menu after preforming a copy or print calibration the menu appears again except there is a 'Next" button on the lower right. If you go to the "next" page it shows a button for "Banner" which the graphic shows what appears to be the touch screen and pointing to the upper right of it. Hit the banner button and there are two lines that can be filled in. I did this but do not see the text anywhere. Once you leave the hidden screen you are brought back to the original admin menu selection and the "next" is not there. Any clue what this is all about?

Firmware is T350SY0U4006
I was able to also preform this on my 4511 which is at the same ver. But I still don't see what you enter into the "banner" being displayed on any of the touch screens.
Is the banner a feature of the 350/450 copier and somehow a bug to get to it on the 3511?Comment

You are able to see this feature because you have 08 681 set to 1. Setting this 08 code to 1 enables the admin to enter the banner advertisement from the control panel.
You don't "see" the banner advertisement because you need 08 678 set to 1. Once you set it to 1, the lines you entered will be displayed in the upper right hand corner of the display panel for all to see.
Not a secret, just rarely used.Comment

08 681 is set to 0 and the "banner" button in the menu does not display unless one of the calibrations is preformed from the admin menu. The hidden "next" button will not be displayed if the calibration is done from the user.
I set 08 681 to 1 and 08 678 to 1 and now the banner is displayed in the admin menu as well as the test displayed on the touch screen.
The hidden "next" button after calibration appears to be a bug since 08 681 was set to 0.
Thank you for taking the time to clarify this. What other features might not easily be know?Comment

From the description you give I am pretty certain you are correct that it is a bug to be able to enter banner information in that manner. 08 681 is suppose to reveal a hidden "banner message" button, not a 'next' button taking you to the banner message entry screen. Interesting. I will try to duplicate the anomaly at the shop Monday on one of my machines.Comment
