the current hard drive is dead . Buy a new hard drive about the same but set no knowledge of the operating system how?
I could ghost the operating system from a hard drive GL-1020 in another machine is not?
And if it is to use software to ghost
(As Windows or OS Ghost star?)

You should use Recovery CDROM .It 's simplest & easy

You'll need the recovery CD's to do it. I have them.

I have the system software disks for GL1010+1020, GA1040, GA1110, GA1140 - for e-studio 28-35-45, e-studio 550-650-810 and others.
