    General Toshiba eBridge question.

When you are adding contacts to the address book using TopAccess, and you need to put a pause within the phone number (after the number and before a long-distance authorization code), how do you do it?

At the walk up panel you would press the monitor/pause button and the pause is represented with a dash "-" but if you put a dash in the number in TopAccess then the fax doesn't recognize it as a pause and just ignores it. I have tried commas, but no luck either.

Thanks if you can answer this.

Hmm... the topaccess manual says that a "-" is supposed to add a "three second pause." I'm looking at the eb2a-topaccessguidev00.pdf file under e283 in techtogo. Might be different for ebridge1? It's on PDF page 93. Hope this helps...
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Ran into this once and luckily they didn't have many numbers. So I did it from the panel. I would like to know the TA way also.

I think you are right that there is a difference. Here is the excerpt you are talking about for the eBridge2:

Now look at the equivalent page from the eBridge1 manual:

Notice how the line about adding a dash is missing. It WAS an eBridge1 one machine I was working with, so I believe you might have answered my question. Thanks
