    ADI to SATA

    Hi everyone,

Is their any other possible procedure that's not listed in the bulletins/service manual for putting a normal type SATA HDD drive in this machine? The correct procedure could not be followed as the last owner took the ADI HDD with them.

Is the only option to get a new ADI HDD??? Surely their must be some work around for this..

    Thanks in advance

I haven't touched a Toshiba in a couple years, but as I remember, you can change a SATA machine to an ADI machine, but not the other way.

i'm sure the main board doesn't have SATA connections on it. The SATA drive uses different wiring than ADI. So no it's not possible.

What is the model # of the copier you are working on?

        Generally, the answer is no.

You need a Toshiba proprietary SED-HDD. No off the shelf HDD will work.
