If a manufacturer does not offer firmware on their public download page then they consider that firmware to be their intellectual property that they want to control access to. To discuss it further is a violation of the Forum Rules general rule 5. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

Is there a specific problem that makes you think you need firmware?

One thing to remember is that if you try to update the firmware and make a mistake, that E-477 becomes a boat anchor.
