3025AC-Waste Toner Motor Blowing Logic PWB

We had a 3025AC call in last week for a waste toner not being recognized. Unit had 15k total on it, WTC would not reset, and the waste toner stir motor would not activate via service mode. Diagnosis tool came back without error. After speaking with tech support, there is a developing issue where metal shavings from the stir motor are grounding and back feeding to fry the LGC pwb. We went back Friday to replace the stir motor and LGC; issue was resolved. The LGC was also available as a warranty claim.
Hope this helps someone along the way.

Yes. this is a current known issue with all devices in this series. Common symptoms are waste toner not being recognized, replacing waste toner repeatedly, and the waste toner motor not turning on or turning off in test mode. It's essential to replace both the motor and logic board as a component on the board gets damaged by overcurrent from the motor.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.

i had this problem twice and he second machine was a 2525AC where i replaced the motor by one of an old 2515AC.
I guess we get it in time before the LGC dies because its still working without replace the board.
