    281c

    Hi,
In one Toshiba E-studio 281c, she was block every time, and I format the disc, but she still the same, then I change the disc and reload the firmware. But she still frozen. And now I can't access to some codes, like 05+396, 05+395, and others that now I don't remenber.
She is very unstable, sometimes don't initialize the network, other's don't make copies (we press the start and nothing occurs). I'm almost crazy with this...

when replacing the hard drive did you do the following
      1. Replace hard drive
      2 3 + clear power on option 3 start
      3 power off
      4 0+8 power on
      5 690 start 2 start
      6 reload firmware
      7 0+8 power on
      8 947 start
      9 redo 5
      10 power off then on
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Also if nothing helps it might come to SYS board replacement.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

          I think it's ok now.
I change the hdd again, for one WD.
But first I try another hdd from another Toshiba, and it it's always give me one error in the firmware upgrade in the Hdd part. Then I try the memory ram, with no result.. I try some codes too, firmware 2 version's....
And finally the WD Hdd arrived, I try one last time change the HDD and worked..
