Toshiba 477sl adf paper present sensor

According to the (Lexmark) manual, the only way to replace the sensor is to order a new document feeder. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a replacement sensor for the paper present for these models or provide a part number?

The e477sl is a Toshiba/Okidata discontinued copier. You can only order the entire top deck assembly and not individual parts.

It is a major effort to replace the ADF.

Overall a poor design from Okidata who has now left the North American MFP marketplace.

Your best bet is to try and find a used e347cs e477s to take parts off of.

.. this is a current model and you can order parts online from a wide variety of parts resellers including Lexmark.

The e478s is also known as the Lexmark XM3250 and the MX622adhe

Toshiba does not stock parts for Toshiba/ Lexmark's.
