we have received a few new e Studio 338CS. There are various ways to set up shortcuts for network scans on these devices. We would like to use network scanning, but with PDF/A-2.
Strangely, not all versions are available in all menus? If you go to the web interface via "Shortcuts" -> "Add Shurtcut" -> "Network Folder" you have the option to choose between A-1a, A-1b and A-2u for PDF versions 1.4 and 1.7.
But if you go via "Apps" -> "Scan Center - Network Folders" -> "Configure" > "create shortcut" > "Scan Settings" suddenly only A-1a and A-1b are available under "Others"?? (see pictures)
The problem is that you can use the "Apps" to place the scan link directly on the printer's start menu. But PDF A-2u is not offered or am I missing something?
