Toshiba E 230 Fax Monitor?

Have a customer that has a Toshiba E230 with fax.Is there any way to turn on the fax monitor,so when they fax they will here the dialing and connection sound, like in stand alone fax machines?I know u can press the monitor button on the op panel but that doesn't do the same thing.Is there a code or something i am missing? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The only way to do that is with an external handset with speaker. There is no code on any of the Toshiba copiers to turn on the fax monitor automatically.

You can make it print out a report every time (not just on error) if they are worried about not knowing whether it went through or not. Of course they can also look at logs under job status.
