    Toshiba 3500c admin password/reset

    HI,

I have just purchased from an auction a Toshiba 3500c from an auction. However it has a passsword set and i would like to network it but cannot set it up with out a password. Is there a generic password i should try? Or do i have to reset the copier back to factory settings - Does that mean i lose counter numbers etc? Or is there another option?

It is for a non profit Yoga association so any assistance anyone could give me would be gold! Thank you in advance.

    Cheers

    Admin code should be 123456
    Easy!
Let me know if this does not work as you can find out what it is set to in the 08 codes.

08/263 will show the admin code. from here you can change it to default (123456) or anything else you would like. Letters or numbers. emujo

This was probably just a office worker who wanted to get past his boss setting color limits. I like how people just freely give out passwords and codes on a whim. If your a Toshiba employee you just broke the antitrust rule. Way to go.

          THANKS!

Thanks heaps Coygirl and Emujo! It was just the standard password.

I'd call a local toshiba rep and they wanted $121 to come out and fix. So thanks x 121!

          Cheers
