    Estudio 720 or 520

    Hi all
    I have 2 problems.
    1. I bought 1 Estudio 720 few weeks ago. It run copy 72 ppm and driver pcl (windows XP) receive Estudio 720 (after update now at configuration tab of property) for many days. But now it run 52 ppm and driver pcl (windows XP) receive Estudio 520 (after update now at configuration tab of property). I have changed arguments 05-code , 08-code but i don't remenber. Please help me that it become 720.
    2. It print/scan but control panel display "REMAINING TRIAL DAY(S): 10". After 10 days, it will not print/scan. I have not GM 2040 dongle so that to open key to print/scan. Can you have other ways so that it print/scan normal ?

I think you must change "Device Name" in configuration tab of propertyand buy USB donge GM 1050 or GM 2040.
Toshiba Sevice Agent can help you.

Once you put plug the GM-2040 in, the "remaining days" message should go away. Are you putting the dongle into one of the 2 usb slots located around the network port? One other item of interest... If your MFP is at or above ver 320, you should be using the newer enablers (GM2041) I don't know if the older enablers will work correctly with the new firmware. As to the print speed, if you do a "get configuration" and the driver is returning a "520" as the model, reload system firmware and instead of downloading the newest drivers (Toshiba will only offer the newest to end users), connect to the shared PCL or PS queues using SMB. If everything looks correct this way (Driver is pulled from the MFP itself) then you have a conflict between the new drivers and older firmware on the MFP. Hope some of this helps. Also, if you can remember what you changed in the 05/08 modes, this might help. Ed
