    You need pcl board and pcl driver in order to use duplex.

    I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

        It seems that you don't have pcl board.

            Service Handbook - Error Code and Self Diagnostic Modes - PM Support mode (1st Table in that section) Power on with 6 and Start. press 2 and the counters will be shown. 08 codes 251 and 252 for the machine PM counter.

              In this particular model there is no "6" mode there is a 05,08 modes but no "6". I thought that it would be like any other toshibas but this one is different. Unless i am missing something. I even tried inputting 6 start on copier and nothing happened.

                sorry thought it was 230 or 280. 250 is completely different. It was actually made by the fax division. The 251and 252 counters are the same, but there is no PM counter list. 08-355 will show you the drum life counter 08-401 can reset it. 08-403 is the fuser counter,404 is the Dev counter. I have to say I've never known them to be used.

                  Additionally. Concerning
                  drum it is better to use 673;
                  paper cassettes rollers - 356/357 - upper/lower;
                  separetion charger - 497;
                  adf rollers - 374;
                  when clearing fuser counter clear 402, too!

                    As i said though I have never known them to be used. The machine is so old now that when I see one it is usually on it's way to the scrap yard.

                        I guess us people in places where poverty is putting off a new car for another year, fail to recognise that sometimes. Do you have the information you wanted now?
