    FC 22

Have one old FC22, changed all devs, drums, cleaned all optics including laser unit inside out and etc.. Made all automatic adjustments, but when copying smth that is in grey color instead of grey it makes smth like light violet, also objects that are dark looks little bit darker but if there's light objects/background then they are not seen practicaly, if adjust darkness then darker objects are too dark and light looks normal.. Appologize for my english - hope you understand my problem.. I'm new at color copiers and did everything step by step reading manuals.. Thanks for your replies..

Did you do the gamma adjustments? If you are copying and the colors are off, I would start with that.

Having said that, The FC-22 scanner wasn't particularly good (nor was the 210/310). They printed OK if you used 28 lb paper but never copied great.

Also, is this a 22 or 22i, and did you use the correct supplies (they use different developers among other things). This could have an effect.

May be You need color specialist to adjust color balance for low density - 779 - 798. I have "used" a very skilled person working in photo business for a 15 years. In 4 iteration He gets the best from the machine, telling me where to put larger value and where to put smaller. Automatic adjustment is only the start.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.
