Enable the Department Codes on the machine and enter in users that can print / copy colour. Then enter in another user which everyone can use for black and white.

You can set output permissions (what they are allowed to do on the copier) for each user.

Once this is done, you may then want to enable Department Code Enforcement from the web interface so that printing is locked down as well.

Update the machine coniguration in the printer driver so that the driver knows that Department Codes are turned on and away you go.

Everytime the customer then prints, a pop-up will be displayed asking for a code to print to the machine. This can be set in the driver so that it doesn't have to be entered in everytime.

When you customer wants to copy, they will have to enter in a code so that they can use the machine. If they enter in one of the colour activated codes, then they will be able to copy in colour. If the customer enters in the black and white only code, then the copier will not allow the user to select colour.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Department codes will work, but they are a pain to work with and any additional steps encounterd by users are usually whined about. I believe the 4511 also had a black and white only PCL6 driver. Color options are not even available with this driver. It can be found on the public toshiba site.
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.
