Hello, we have a Toshiba E-Studio 550/GL-1020 here that has so many scan logs on it, that I cannot get in to view or delete the logs.
I need to see the logs to determine why my scans to a network share aren't working. It is a Windows 2003 server that I am trying to send to, and I have changed to appropriate settings in group policy, and the registry.
What I wanted to do was hop on the console of this controller and find those logs and delete them myself. I plugged in a monitor and keyboard, but am unable to stop the boot process to get into the box with no password. (single user mode).
So, it looks like I will need the root password to do what I would like to do.
Does anyone out there know the root password for this controller? I have seen the other thread that mentioned that it's root/secret, but that doesn't work for me.
Name: TOSHIBAF
Copier Model: e-STUDIO550
Controller Model: GL-1020
Controller Version: 2.1.2.5
Hard Disc Space Available: 6367 MB
If anyone can offer any advice at all to help my situation, I would appreciate it. I am about to pull that hard drive and stick in another PC, find the logs, and delete them that way. I would really like to avoid that though.
