Error 'CAF?'

I'm posting this in this forums because, honestly, I get more information about Sharp AR810s here than I do in the Sharp section. I have a question about a Sharp AR810, which, I believe, is rebadged Toshiba eStudio based on forum posts. I was the tech working on this machine, but then I got pulled to help out in another territory so I feel bad for the guy on it now and want to help out. Here's what's up:

Wrench Light. Hold 8 + C. Get 'CAF' code. This code does not exist in our Sharpshiba manuals. We don't know where to start. Do any Toshiba machines have a CAF code? Maybe that could at least point us in the right direction.

Laser problem:
CAF Primary scanning inter-page compensation error

Is any harness between the PLG board and galvanic mirror, PLG board and laser drive PC
board and PLG board and H-Sync detection PC board open-circuited or any connector

disconnected? If yes reconnect.

If no, replace the plg board or the laser.
