    E Sudio 452 Light spots

    Light spots on 452, changed transfer & sep corona & main corona copies got better but still have faint light areas. New to Toshiba, a Ricoh tech for 30 years any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    A greyscale scan would be good. Maybe one of a test chart or a sky shot. It would help us help you.

    You might check the doctor blade for build up behind it.

      Reset toner settings replaced developer, copies look great will do a follow up to check copy quality. There is probably a add toner issue.

        Sometimes the gearing in the toner hopper will wear out or get broken. There's a spring loaded gear assembly that the toner presses together when it is inserted.

          Ditto with ToshibaTech. I've had to replace couplings in the Toner Hopper before myself as well. BRING A VACUUM CLEANER!!
