Toshiba 2500C on Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to make this copier work on Snow Leopard? Every time I print, it results in an error. I can print using the generic drivers built into OS X but I lose a lot of functionality. Does anyone have the correct drivers for 10.6?

    Thanks

To my knowledge Toshiba has not released 10.6 drivers for this series yet. They have released 10.6 drivers for the newer 4520c machines. You could try those drivers but no guarantee.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Last I heard from Toshiba Australia, Snow Leopard drivers won't be available until the end of April and even then, it will take them a while to get drivers from all models (excluding older models which might not have the 10.6 drivers done at all).

ToshibaTech is right in saying that you could try the 4520c driver as from memory, both series are e-Bridge 3 machines.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Thanks for the info Mr Spock.

You might have some problems running the 4520c driver then as the two machiens use different technologies. Not saying to not try as at the end of the day, the drivers are both Postscript.

The instructions on this page help a lot:
            Apple - Support - Discussions - Toshiba 5520 Printer/Driver Error ...

Now I print using the drivers posted on the website!

New driver was emailed to me for 10.6 today for the 281c's, should be receiving the new one for 2500 next week. Will post when available.

Downloads | Drivers | Toshiba Copiers

Some newly updated there. Are you setting it up properly as a TCP/IP printer? Is there Department codes?
