e-st 281c error CA20

I get this call in the morning...by the time I get there and cycle the power on the machine it works fine.
Took the machine apart twice, cleand all, reset connectors. Anybody seen this problem? Please help!!!

you have a problem with your laser unit.
Clean this unit but i think that your laser is KO.

I have a TON of these in the field and have never had to replace the laser. Yes they get dirty, and yes I've had to reset the connectors on some, but as a rule these laser's hold up good!
I'd cut all the cable ties then re-tie them a little looser than Toshiba does it.
