    Error F105 e-STUDIO 280

e 280 throws error F105 when trying to copy, you can send print jobs to it with no errors. Error F105 only happens when copying. If I initialize HDD with 08-690 will I need to re-install firmware? Or is this just a firmware issue? Thanks in advance for any guidance with this. I do not have firmware, if you can help me out and send me the latest firmware I thank you sincerely. J.

690 wont delete firmware already instlalled, but you may lose any templates that are setup so a back up in Top Access would be prudent. As to the firmware, there are about 4 different levels and you must go from 1.xx to 2.xx and so on. Let us know what level you are at now, and I'm sure someone can get the firmware to you. Too large for email... Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

The firmware can be uploaded via yousendit.com. Been using this for years and it works well.

            Turn off machine
            turn on while holding 0 & 8
when test mode comes up goto 900 start and post the code there.
That is the version info that I need to suggest how to update the firmware.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
