    Toshiba E-Studio 230 Printing problem

Hi, i've just recently purchased a 2nd hand e-studio 230 off ebay. Whilst the copier works well, I can't seem to print from my computer. I've installed what I believe are the relevant driver files, and can access the copier from my computer by typing in the LAN ip address, and can even print files from the 'e-filing' page, but not any normal documents or pages from my computer.

What am I doing wrong and or what can I do to get this to work.

I have been quoted $264.00 for a tech to come out, but im only a small business just starting up, so capital really isn't there at the moment if I can fix this issue myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the right hand side of the machine where the network cable goes in, make sure that there is a little cover with a USB drive behind it.

This is the print enabler for the machine as they don't print / scan with out the option. If you don't have one, then you will need to purchase one before you are able to print / scan.

I think this is right, but could someone correct me if I'm wrong?

    GM-1020 = Print Enabler
    GM-2020 = Print / Scan Enabler
GM-3020 = Scan Enabler (If print enabler purchased separately)
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Thanks for responding. Attached is an image of the side of my machine.

Also to note, I have also tried the usb ports aswell, still same issue.

Something I should've also mentioned was when I elect to print, the print status in the printer control panel of the computer briefly shows 1 image ready to print, then goes back to 0, yet nothing prints.

And i'm using Vista normal if thats any help aswell.

You are missing the enablers. It won't print or scan without them.

Ok, where do I get the enablers from then, and what exactly am I looking for in the way of explaining what I need?

          Thanks

Try Ebay or your local Toshiba dealer.

Since you are in AUS, I might be able to find one around here, but it would have to be cleared by my manager and paid for of course.
