    e-studio 310c

    Hi people!
Got this malfunction on a Toshiba e-studio 310c: found a cian developing spiral broken on the top (by the bushing, near the rear gears area). rebuilt the broken spiral(!!!) and set up the machine with better prints there it has before. Now another malfunction came: it doesn't feed enough cian toner... I mean: the spiral is o.k., the toner motor turns, but to keep it working we have to takeout the imaging unit and turn the toner bottle gear by hand (do this 3 times!!!) to feed toner enough! Checked the toner motor area and everything is fine. The toner bottle seems o.k. too...
Can anyone help? How can I force the toner motor to work much more?
    - This is a 600dpi fabulous machine!!!

OK, silly question time. Did you run Cyan autotoner on the copier? Could be that the Autotoner value is set too low.
sigpic No! we never do that with the copier.

      Cyan

Yes: several times, with several values and the same result - low toner feed. Probably its solved like this: did measure the resistance of the toner motors and the cyan one has more resistance value, the 3 others were +/- the same... Replaced the cyan toner motor with the yellow (interchange) and tested some prints, seemed to work, untill now the costumer didn't post any issue.
