E-studio 310c/311c service code and opinions solicited-server needed too

    Hey guys,

I have about a half dozen Toshiba E-studio 310c and 311c color copiers.

I need the code to enter service mode to see what's wrong with a few of them.

I also would like your opinion(s) on the following:

    1. We're going to try and use parts from the worst of the lot to use on the others...are the 310c and 311c parts very interchangeable? I noticed the toners are somewhat different.

    2. Is the 310c or 311c better? Please elaborate.

    3. One of the 310c models doesn't have the internal fiery or the printer ports on the left side like the others. Instead it has a scuzzy cable that goes deeper into the machine. It appears that the shipping company didn't get the external server that probably went with it? It copies well...so...is it better to take a crappier 310c and put the internal ports and fiery into this machine or get an external server that would have went with it. I know nothing of the fiery external servers that went with this model.

Thanks guys and I appreciate your help and input.

I have a few of these machines around, the 311 model are newer models, parts are pretty pricey though,
the toner is the same except for the gears and notches on the back of the toner cartridges. Check your email for service mode procedure.
