    Hi tinnyjayq,
There are a lot good techs in this forum. May be You have to ask yourself why nobody answers your question(s). I would direct your attention about your behaviour. I have seen a post of yours commenting tsbservice. You are not right and I am sure He won't help You. Nether do I.

    Be cool.

    BR
I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

      My behaviour????!!!!
      Are we in school here?
      Are we children?
      Or what???
First i dont know who is tsbservice and what i have comented about his posts. If i need help here,it means i need members help, admins help,or just everybdy here can do it.
If tsbservice is an admin here and i have a bad behaviour directed to him,you are wrong!!!!
Because there are some points my behaviour depends from.
1-I dont offend any person here!!!
2-I try to help members if i can
3-If something for me is wrong, everybody lets know it,ITS WRONG FOR ME!!!

If you dont want to help me,make as you wish, but this its not a good behaviour.
Best regards to anybody and please can you tell me who is tsbservice just to know more about him.

This is predominetly a forum for techs helping techs. You seem to be a user (or at least not a trained toshiba tech) and you want help from cradle to grave on your issues. (you're not the only one either) After some time you must be willing to solve some of your issues on your own. And you need to offer some feedback on what did or did not solve the problem, not just ask for the firmware on the next machine you run into. No offense intended, but if I could get some one to solve all my problems for free I'd be hounding them day and night. Stop sending PMs just to get a question answered...post it, if someone can help they will, or if they think you're going overboard (which I do) they won't. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

EMUJO may i ask you a question?
When you dont know something about copiers.
When you have a problem with your copiers, what do you do here in this forum.
          Write about your problem?
          Dont tell to nobody?
          Or what?

I think if you have a problem or other members have some problems you/they will try to fix it here.
Otherwise if you,me and all members dont write here, can you explain what does this forum means?

Somebody is a user, somebody is a tech somebody is a very professional tech.
I dont want to judg on you EMUJO,(because you helped me and by the way thank you again),but what does a forum means ???
A place where people talk about they problems, ideas(our case copiers),feel free to discuss with other members, ask for help and if somebody for example: EMUJO,dont want to help somebody else, nobody say why not!!! or not...

IF I ASK YOU FOR HELP,DONT SAY ME WHY YOU NEED HELP,IF YOU CAN,HELP ME,IF YOU DONT WANT TO HELP ME,DONT HELP ME,IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO HELP ME,DONT HELP ME,BUT AS I THINK IS A LITTLE COMUNIDM HERE.

Thank you guys but can you say something about my problems???

            Funny
Thanks Ed and ivo, but I don't need defence here cuz I feel free to help anybody who asks reasonable questions, even sometimes that person being end user not tech.
I'm pretty sure everybody here do that.

tinnyjay, send me a PM if you wish, and I'll send you a copy of DP-1610_SH where together with how to remove DC you will be able to learn a lot more about maintenance of your copiers.

            Peace, everybody

I posted a question on a HP C5180, I am not trained, no manuals, no access to parts or HPs tech site. I got 0 answers..does this mean I should PM someone who looks like an HP tech and start hounding him/her about helping me? Nope, if its important enough, I'll find a HP tech and bring him/her out. My inbox is full of PMs requesting firmware from you and frankly, you've crossed some kind of ettiqutte line so I don't really want to spend the time. Emujo

Wasn't your question, "How to remove Department Codes"? Thats like asking a mechanic, "how to I disable the odometer". That's why no one was helping you. Anyone could come on here and pretend to be a tech, who wants to get around department codes. Do you also want to know how to get the counter to stop keeping track?
