    GL-1010 - Cannot Access Top Access

    Hello everyone.
    I have an e-28 (with a GL-1010) that the TopAccess is disbled and the TopAccess icon on the display is greyed out and cannot be selected.
    Prior to me working on the e-28 it was on the network with print/scan working ok.
    I had just delivered and installed an e-282 on this same network using a different IP address and it is on the network and printing & scanning fine.
    When I finished with the e-282, I went to work on the e-28. I had to replace the paper lift gear box which required I dismount the GL-1010 but after putting everything back together, it was no longer seen on the network.
    I am able to ping the e-28 machine ok. Also I noticed the TopAccess is disbled and the icon for TopAccess on the copier's display is greyed out and cannot be turned on. I attempted installing another GL-1010 and reinstalled the firmware (already a couple of years old) but am still not able to access TopAcess. Originally this machine had an enabler (Scan Dongle) on it but eventually figured out it worked without it (probably because of an updated firmware). I then tried re-installing the enabler just in case but made no difference.
    Does anyone know what in this case may be preventing me from accessing TopAccess?

    The Gl1010 takes forever to come and and go to ready (I have one customer that it takes 30 minutes). Otherwise a hard drive and system reload sound like the best solution. Can you see the web page from a computer? can you print even though it is not available?
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

      Correction to the description of my problem :
      After the GL-1010 goes to ready, I can ping the e-28 and I can see the Hard Drive using the RUN:\\ command - It only shows the File Share and Printer File only, but the PCL6 and PS3 drivers are missing. Even after exchanging the Scanner Unit and reloading firmware - still same symptom.
      It is as if some setting was changed.
      Also cannot access Top Access (disabled and icon is greyed out so I cannot enble from Op. Panel). If I enter the IP on the search bar, it simply will not open TopAccess as if the copier is not on the network, but when I ping the IP, it replys fine.
      On the following info. I will need to go back and verify.
      This customer had it set up to scan to individual folders so I did not attempt the Shared File, but since I could see that folder I assumed I could open it using the SMB. On the print to SMB, the drivers were missing, but I did not attempt to install the driver to the PC and link it to the TCP/IP. If those 2 worked I would still have the problem of not being able to access TopAcess to set up the individual Scan To Folder paths.
