Toshiba E Studio 450, NIC Card activation.

We purchased an Estudio 450 for a small office and would like to make this a standalone, networked printer. It came with a NIC but it does not appear to be activated. We called for support and we were sent a small, purple usb dongle with no instructions on how/where to install. Of course the cost for them to come do the install is a joke.. I am guessing this dongle is used to activate the network card but can find no reference to it. Crazy stuff... Any help/clues appreciated...

    Thank You

Using a magnifying glass I have been able to determine that this usb style dongle is a gm2010.. Where does this need to be installed in the printer??

    Thanks..

Just stick it into USB port on the rear side, and you'll have printer enabled.

The 2010 also enables scanning..once the dongle is installed you can set this MFP up as a printer very easily, but, the only problem you may have is if the MFP firmware has never been updated, you may have issues using Vista as an OS. Emujo
