Hello folks I am sorry for not doing a EXTENSIVE newb search, but I am in need of a response ASAP, if possible.
With server 2003 and exchange 2003 this function worked without a hitch, now upgrading to server 2008 and exchange 2010, no go. Now I have done some digging and I have come across that Exchange 2007 is set out of the box to only communicate using RPC, and I will have to explicitly turn on the SMTP connector and it will create it under port 587.
I will also have to create a New Distribution Group and untick "Require that all senders are authenticated."
with all this being said is there any added steps for 2010 Exchange?
Steve
PS thank you for your kind responses and I look forward to the responses!!!
