    toshiba e-452 lockup

Just updated firmware from 032 to 301. Before update it was locking up, after firmware update, still
doing it. Has anyone run into this problem? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I hope you updated from 32 to 200 to 300 to latest. If not downgrade to ver 300 (no lower) then up to latest once again. Describe "lock up" what codes/symptoms. Emujo

Thank you for replying. I updated directly from 32 to 301, could be a big mistake on my part there. So I took both board off a e-352 which was updated from 232 to 301 which was working normally and install it
on the e-452 but it lock up again after about 5 minutes. So I formatted a new harddrive and reinstall firmware 301 again. But it did the same thing. I just read your other replies about having to swap out the
NVRAM chip also. So I will try that tomorrow. Lock up is having no response on the control panel after pressing any buttons, and cannot get into the webbased configuration on the computer, there is no error code.
I don't have the firmware ver.300. If anyone have can we swap ver. 300 for my 301. Thank you for your time.

Try also to initialize display in 08 6xx (don't remember exactly which code is). But I am afraid that the culprit is display or SYS board.
I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.
