mj-1101 and mj-1030 finisher problem on toshiba 3500c..help!

i had a mj-1101 finisher attached to my toshiba 3500c and it would do a strange clicking noise on the elevator tray when the machine would start up. so then i added a mj-1030 finisher and the same thing happened!! error cb30 would pop up. but i had tested the finishers out on another machine before, and they would work fine with no problems. i just tested the same mj-1101 finisher on another machine and i get no problems, and if i put the mj-1030 im sure it would give me no problems. so im thinking that its settings in 0,8 mode from the machine thats causing them to do something that the finisher dosent want or cant do. any help or ideas??

Did you also exchange the finisher interface board with the finisher you are trying to use?

Did you try 08-1912 (finisher model switching setting value)?

      0: MJ-1030
      1: MJ-1101

      Hope this help you.

yeah i forgot to mention that.. i did swap those out. and i did do the 0,8 mode 1912-1. its really weird because its doing it to both finishers. could it be that setting 648 in 0,8 mode was set to 1?? 648 for those who dont know is so the elevator tray can return to bin 1 after its done printing.. also i just noticed, when its starting up the stapler starts to staple...any ideas???

I had a machine that kept having a 1101 finisher problems. Swapped finisher and the new one would do the same thing on the machine. Replaced IPC board and still had problems. Ended up swapping the logic board and the problems followed the board to the machine in the shop.

I suggest that redo all the adjustment of the finisher such as Alignment Position, Staple Position and so on.
