Latest version from Toshiba is SATA. You need also new power cable if your machine is currently with old version.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

I've never seen any of the 3510C series with an IDE drive (not saying it's not true), but the main reason for my post is after working on the series for 5+ years, I've never had a HDD go bad, I had one in my trunk that I kept for emergency use but I finally wound up putting it in a KM product. What makes you think you need a HDD? Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

I just wanted to make sure I had one on hand is all, One of my customers called me with a "HDD Data not found" and then he called and said after he rebooted hes getting F105.

I am on site now, is there any way someone can get me firmware for this machine asap? I'ts current version is 340. I no longer have my firmware for toshiba's. I can not test the drive with 694 because when I go into 08 I get "HDD Data not found"...

When I worked at the toshiba dealer, we had several HDD go bad, due to the customer having the machine on the wall, so it had no air flow. This is not the case here though...
        Thanks

Not so fast. It is a Toshiba cable. Generally as I see on the photos in BSI it is SATA in one side and special one on the other in order to connect to PCB. Your way might work if IDE is female one.

I think this is the adapter that he used (or one like it)

              Newegg.com - AMC CSA-6 6" SATA Power Adapter, (15-Pin) to Power Supply (4-Pin) - Adapters & Gender Changers
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Yes, that's the adapter I used.

Anyone able to point me into the right direction for latest firmware for this machine, I would greatly appreciate it. I need to get this customer back up and running.

I use to have all the firmware, but after I left the dealer, I deleted them all... I won't do that again lol
                Thanks
