    e520 system board/nic problem

I have an e520, the copier functions work fine, but the lights on the NIC stay on all the time. I tried 08 693. Is there a hard reset like a dp2 jumper on the older ones, or do I have to replace the system board. Plugged into the network i have solid amber and green lights all the time.

AFAIK you just have to replace it. So in that case you might try putting FW in it first. I had one of these integrated NICs go out just a little while back and there was very little troubleshooting that Toshiba could talk me through other than just replacing the board.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

I'm going to try a "used" system board tomorrow. Tried flashing it today, it took the flash but no luck with the NIC.

Sometimes problem with NIC are because of bad HDD. Change and re-flash. Check also cables - data and power that goes to HDD.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

Things to try in order that I would.

          1. Check for duplicate IP address on network.
          2. Check switch connectivity.
          3. Try connection between machine and laptop.
          4. 693 and 1119
          5. Format HDD
          6. Replace e-Bridge board.

Hope you get your issue sorted out.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
