    e studio55 bad background

    i did a developer change on this machine because it was overtoning pretty bad. after replacement and calibration the copies look 10 times worse than they did before. background is so bad now the image is barely visible. what did i screw up? thanx

        Bad developer would cause a dirty background,not an "overtoned" printing.
        I'd suggest to check corona.If the wires are ok,just clean them and clean also the grid,if they are broken you must change them.
        Also try manual density setting it too low and see if there is any diference and tell us.
