    DP 5570 with a F10

I can read so I do know this is a HD error. I have attemped to reformat the drive and I get an error. I can here the HD clicking so I think that it is bad. Just wondering if any knows of a work around. My customer does not want to spend any money. If it looks like I am going to have to replace the HD anyone have an estimate on cost? Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly, these used a laptop HDD, used one might cost 30 to 40 dollars. Even if full size HDD, not expensive.

Any laptop HDD of at least 20gb. Just do an 08-690 format of the drive after install. There is no operating data on it.

I believe the HDD that came with the 5570 is a very small 2GB

Actually it is 3,2Gb. So 10Gb must be ok.

Holding in my hand an original 2167mb HDD out of a dp5570 manufactured by Toshiba. I would say thats closer to 2gb. Don't be a "douche" and split hairs, or maybe the Bulgarian model is a 3.2gb.

I suppose You are closer to the right answer. I don't have DP5570 nearby but a sales guide.
