    this is a bit complex to explain on the site;
    basically you need to create a file on the server and make that the destination via topacess
    you can just scan to the hdd by giving each user access to the hdd by mapping the hdd of the machine but can slow down after 10 users
    \\ ip address search, file share map drive etcc.....

      As JamesyBoy said, you are better off using the "Local-MFD" scan path which is the default scan to file location.

      The location can be found by going to the following UNC path.

      \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\file_share (replace the x's with the IP address of your photocopier)
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

        Scan to efile and scan to file are 2 different animals...efile just stores docs on the HDD for users to print out locally at copier when needed. Resoultion can be bumped up by changing the defaults under USER FUNCTIONS/USER/SCAN. Scan to file needs the enabler (dongle) to turn on the functionality. If you can print, but the "hard" scan button will not light, you need to add the scan enabler, if you can't print, you need either the scan or combo (print/scan) enabler. Emujo
        If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.
