    Tosh DP series duplex problems

Hello, we still have a large amount of these machines out in the field. They in general are pretty good runners except for the duplexers. I have put some of the mod kits on them, try everything I can think of to make them somewhat reliable but nothing seems to help. The main code we see is the e 54 but also see the rest of the duplex codes too. Do any of you have any suggestions or tricks that help make these things run? Thanks for any help.

I don't remember there ever being a real "fix" for the DP duplex jams..there were 2 or 3 mods and either they worked or they didn't. We usually wound up replacing all clutches, feed rubber every 100K or so, and in some instances, upgraded to the 810 series when we could not resolve the jams. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Sounds like same as what we have found, but nothing seems to really "fix" them. Other than the duplexer the machines run pretty well. We are trying to replace the machines but we have a lot out still and with the economy like it is now customers are not wanting to upgrade.
