AFAIK, no brand supports mapped drives; you must always use the full UNC path.
If anyone knows that Toshibas are an exception, please feel free to jump right in.

if you are using winblows then create a shortcut then put in \\ipaddres\file_share click next add a name click finished.
You can try to map a drive but this works so nicely that I have not tried it.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!Comment
